How many 360/ps3 games actually sell 1 million +? Very very few. They are missing out on 100k at the most.

They are both technically right but in sony's financial report sold means shipped because to them, selling a console to retailer is sold which is right but we would interpret that as shipped. This is where the whole misunderstanding comes from.
Yes MS has sold more than 10 million. And they have projected about the same as Sony for the year so I wouldn't expect much difference in the sales difference unless Sony unleashes a HUGE pricecut on the ps3. Im praying they do!

sales GROWTH. They still project to sell 26 million wii's over the year, easily more than Sony and MS combined so I do not see this as a bad thing.

Nintendo has sold more games than anyone. In software sales they are easily the king.
Its a shame many people are ignoring this just because it is coming on the 360 too it will be a fantastic game.
It seems the ps3 will still have the definitive version especially considering the disc situation you pointed out.

Yes with the wii selling less it becomes more available. Oh wait you were trying to suggest that Nintendo were deliberately holding back stock despite having no evidence apart from their financial reports which states that they have continually upped production levels. is this anything new? As a n64 and gamecube fan I was pretty used to this. I guess Sony and their fans aren't really used to this but it is shameful and always has been. Sadly I don't know what we can do when the people selling the stuff portray themselves to customers who don't know much about the industry and pass their opinion off as facts.
I'm sorry but your just wrong, all 3 use shipped numbers. Also all 3 say these are sold becuase to them they are sold - the retailers buy them off them. To us that is shipped but to them it is sold.
Also you are correct that tracking services such as NPD estimate smaller shops but this actually proves my point. If huge specialised tracking services cannot track all of the market how the hell do sony/nintendo/microsoft? They don't. And of they have better info than NPD's estimat...
